Background Information

Superior Skin Repair (SSR) by Sundancer Products Corporation contains a trade secret formula that we call “Sun-FROST” which is an acronym for (Free Radical Oxygen Scavenger Technology).

Sun-FROST has been developed over a 20-year period with $20+ Million in R & D. The primary expenditures were for plant bioavailable supplementation, plant cell regeneration/diseases, human and animal diseases and for six missions to the International Space Station through a Space Act agreement.

Important Instructions

For skin with excess toxicity (common with seniors) It is not uncommon to develop some temporary skin discoloration as the formula eliminates the toxicity from the surface and lower layers of your skin. If you stop using the product, the discoloration will go away in few days however, if you continue using the product, it will continue to work to remove the toxicity until it is gone; this may take as long as a week or two. With cases where skin problems that persist, it is recommended that you apply a small portion to a small bandage and cover the problem (changing the bandage daily) until it is resolved. Some problems may not diminish within a few weeks and develop a scab. Do not panic, the formula is pulling something out of your skin THAT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. Should a problem persist beyond this, it is recommended that you contact a doctor or healthcare professional.

Your Immune System  and Anaerobic Mutated Cells

Mutated cells have our DNA but stem from a mutation in the p53 gene and have tricked our immune system into believing that they are a part of our normal DNA. SSR has been created at a cationic scale and has different characteristics than its normal-sized counterpart, explaining why ordinary mineral oxides do not work in this situation. Our trade secret involves a formula to create a technically advanced Super Oxide Dismutase (Cu Zn SOD) with Redox (energy) of about ½ of a watt.

The cationic Zinc and Copper compounds in Sun-FROST work to assist cells in the immune system that fight foreign substances and the diseases which mutate cells. This does not happen overnight. Although you may notice some immediate improvements, the real change becomes evident in two or more weeks and can be permanent with continued use.

Elementary Instructions

  • · Do not stir with any metal object (it has cationic minerals which may be destroyed by fusing to the metals)
  • · Do not use in your eyes or mucus membranes (if you do, simply wash thoroughly with water. It will not damage them but may sting somewhat)
  • · If you are going to be in a heated area (hot sun etc.) be certain that your SSR has fully absorbed into your skin as it may cause an additional heating sensation; the formula has a great deal of Redox (Reduction of Oxidation) energy in it (450+mV) which is important to assist in cellular Redox signaling.
  • · It is suitable for use on your face and all other parts of your body
  • · It is always a good practice to do a test patch on the inside of your wrist first (about 2 hours) to verify that you have no allergies to any ingredients.
  • · If you have any serious health conditions and are taking prescribed drugs, it is always a good idea to check with your doctor to find if any of the SSR ingredients may have any contradicting effects to your medicine.
  • · Use regularly for the most benefit (cumulative effect)
  • · Apply to your face 10 minutes after removing makeup or before applying makeup for women and as an after-shave lotion for men
  • · Apply to other, non-sensitive parts of your body after showering or 10 minutes before dressing or going to bed
  • · When used as directed, no case of an overdose has been recorded. *See “Additional, Important Information” at the end of this document.

Special Note; Sundance Products contain “Trade Secret” methods of formulating a very powerful and unique Copper/Zinc, Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD). Glutathione

  • Antioxidant properties to preventing Parkinson’s disease
  • Slowing the ageing process
  • Reducing inflammation (Glutathione is a protein that      occurs naturally sometimes referred to as GSH)
  • It protects your cells from free radicals which can      cause serious damage as well as diseases
  • Maintaining high levels of glutathione      can help to repair free radical damage caused by pollution, stress,      and infection causing cells to gradually lose their ability to repair      themselves
  • Scientists have suggested that higher levels are      associated with longer life expectancy
  • Low glutathione levels have been linked with a range of      diseases, including, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and cancer.
  • A powerful antioxidant that aids detoxification, supports      liver function, and can prevent both cataracts and glaucoma
  • Clinical trials have shown that glutathione has      antioxidant properties which reduce oxidative stress
  • This stress can damage cells and even cause harm at a      DNA level, leading to issues with copying genetic data
  • Oxidative damage can be the underlying cause of many      different types of disease but is most associated with cancer.
  • Glutathione can neutralize these oxidative compounds so      they don’t cause issues
  • Helps regenerate other antioxidants such as Vitamins C      & E. It multiplies its effects to ensure that you can combat free      radicals.
  • Reduces Inflammation: Certain types of cytokine can      lead to inflammation; glutathione supplementation can inhibit this
  • It also prevents the transcription of genes relating to      inflammation so they are not produced in the first place
  • Inflammation is linked to several conditions such as      pulmonary conditions, heart disease, and arthritis
  • Glutathione will absorb directly through the skin making      it highly bioavailable
  • Animal studies have shown that glutathione can have a profound      effect on inflammation
  • One of the major contributors to aging is an increase in      free radicals. These build up over the years through continual stress,      pollution, and other external factors. The older we get, the less able we      are to regenerate our cells, which combined with the build-up of free      radicals leads to increasing damage. Studies have found that glutathione      production decreases as people age, especially when women go through      menopause. It can also negatively affect the immune system and make the      body more susceptible to diseases.
  • It can also reduce the likelihood of brittle bones and      osteoporosis
  • Menopause Relief; one of the less-known glutathione      benefits is menopause relief
  • Women experience hot flashes, sleep problems, mood      changes, and weight gain during this time due to changes in hormones.      However, glutathione has been linked to a decrease in these types of      symptoms.
  • It’s thought that glutathione helps to rebalance hormone      production to normal levels without the need for HRT or similar solutions,      oxidative stress is at the root of many menopausal symptoms
  • Potential to Improve Memory in Alzheimer’s Patients.
  • Research has shown that antioxidants may neutralize free      radicals to slow the progress of Alzheimer’s.
  • Beneficial for Parkinson’s Disease: A contributor to      Parkinson’s disease is oxidative stress that affects the nervous system.
  • Cystic fibrosis patient’s lung function and overall      capacity can benefit. Topical forms can decrease the symptoms.
  • Powerful antioxidant properties that may help to protect      against free radicals and slow down the aging process.
  • There are few side-effects related to glutathione.

Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)

  • Boosts the production of glutathione in your skin. This      component binds the free radicals and peroxides
  • Reduces the formation of melanin and minimizes the      appearance of dark spots on your face. Because pantothenic acid is      found in every living cell, it is essential for healthy cell health.      Pantothenic acid has incredible benefits when applied topically in its      provitamin form- panthenol.
  • Bio-converts into pantothenic acid when applied      topically; effective in formulating highly moisturizing beauty products that      have astounding results on hair, skin and nails.
  • Panthenol is such a significant ingredient for beauty      that it’s one of the few “miracles” ingredients that has been given      a nickname- “the natural beautifier”

Pyridoxin (Vitamin B6),

  • It is significant to protein, fat and carbohydrate      metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters.
  • Pyridoxine HCL, Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine HCL is the      hydrochloride salt of Vitamin B6. When applied naturally to the body,      Pyridoxine assists in the balancing of sodium and potassium as well as      promoting red blood cell production.
  • Preventative for dandruff, eczema, and psoriasis,      according to Wikipedia.
  • Anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties when applied      topically to the skin.
  • A deficiency can lead to skin problems, including      contact dermatitis, irritation, eczema, and blistering.
  • A skin and hair conditioning agent.      Pyridoxine HCL has been approved by the FDA as Generally Recognized as  Safe

Superoxidase Dismutase (SOD)

  • Indicated as an anti-aging enzyme due to its ability to      ameliorate free radical damage to skin and hair cells.      Specifically, its ability to treat the type of oxidative stress implicated      in androgenetic alopecia, or pattern hair loss
  • SOD is a powerful antiageing ingredient & one of      three intrinsic antioxidants that evolved naturally to lessen free radical      damage.
  • The other molecules in this group of enzymatic      antioxidants are catalase (cat) and glutathione peroxidase      (GPx). Each of these differs in its molecular structure but all are      powerful antioxidants used by the body to neutralize various forms of free      radicals.
  • SOD possesses the property of neutralizing the      superoxide free radical.

Powerful antioxidants

  • Boosting levels of SOD may help prevent disease and      increase life span.
  • SOD has been a desirable antiageing treatment & may      improve diseases related to free radical damage and oxidative stress.
  • Topical absorption – including involving cationic      minerals, SOD’s form a group of powerful antioxidants and are unique from      other antioxidants that are classed as non-enzymatic
  • Visible ageing occurs after physiologic reserve declines      and functional capacity diminishes during progressive and cumulative free      radical damage.
  • Increasing SOD levels with topical applications can      improve ageing. Only tiny amounts of enzymes are required in chemical      reactions and these compounds are not consumed – in other words they are      not ‘used up’ in the process and remain to act again further free radical      neutralization. This contrasts to other important antioxidants, such as      vitamin c and vitamin e, which are consumed in the process of neutralizing      free radicals.
  • The use of SOD in ageing. Topical SOD has      been shown to decrease MDA formation and protects cell membranes as well as      protecting against fragmentation from free radical damage to collagen.
  • Oxidative stress is a condition where more radical damage occurs within      cells than is being neutralized by antioxidants
  • Our cells are always in a state of oxidative stress      because damage always exceeds the body’s protective abilities. There are      never enough antioxidant mechanisms to fully neutralize all free radical      generation however, without protection age related problems appear sooner      and are more pronounced. With SSR topical SOD cell products, associated      with free radical damage, protection can be measured. Improvements occur      in these markers of oxidative stress and PGE2, a key inflammatory molecule      in the arachidonic acid cascade, is completely prevented.
  • PGE2 has been implicated in all types of      pro-inflammatory processes, ranging from sunburn to skin cancer      development. Topical SOD can decrease MDA formation and protects cell      membranes as well as protecting against fragmentation from free radical      damage to collagen. MDA levels are markers of ongoing free radical damage      and these are decreased with topical SOD (such as SSR’s SOD)
  • The use of SOD is available in a topical form (in SSR), which can be      absorbed through the skin’s outer barrier.
  • Studies of topical forms of SOD indicate absorption and      reduction of free radical damage/oxidative stress.
  • SOD protects against lipid peroxidation in delicate skin      cell membranes, neutralizes the superoxide radicals, protects against      damaging environmental conditions such as UV exposure, guards against      pollution, combats photoaging, and reduces UV-induced erythema, enhancing      protective the effects of our Sundancer Products ability to protect skin      from sun damage.
  • Topical SOD has been indicated to be useful in the      treatment of skin diseases involving inflammation and free radical      generation. As with all antioxidants, these chemical events occur via the      donation of an electron by SOD to the free radical, neutralizing it.
  • Unlike non-enzymatic antioxidants that are destroyed      during redox activity, the enzymatic antioxidants like SOD persist      longer.

SOD Conclusion:

The association of excess free radical damage with solar exposure, environmental stress, pollution, and ageing is well known. Ongoing oxidative stress and its associated inflammatory up-regulation is associated with even further downstream tissue injury. The reduction of inflammatory markers and oxidative parameters illustrates the skin benefits of topical SOD.

Zinc can help in      healing Dermatitis herpetiformis; a chronic disease of the skin      characterized by very itchy hives and a burning or stinging sensation on      the skin. Blister-like patches of skin may be present on the elbows,      knees, and buttocks.
  • Acne; another often stated benefit of zinc is in the      treatment and prevention of acne.
  • Zinc in the form of zinc sulfate can help heal acne      blemishes, reduce inflammation caused by acne, and help regulate the      skin’s oil gland activity.
  • Dandruff; a benefit of zinc is in the treatment of      dandruff. Zinc is effective in helping to relieve this skin problem.
  • Another zinc benefit is as a natural insect repellent      & natural sunscreen (zinc oxide effectively blocks the sun’s      ultraviolet rays).
  • It helps in the treatment of poison ivy, blisters, and      gum disease.
  • Zinc also plays a role in stimulating the transport of      Vitamin A from the liver to the skin
  • Zinc sulfate can be an effective treatment for contact      dermatitis.
  • Strengthens the immune system; assists in the      development & activation of certain white blood cells. Therefore, it      helps protect the body from infections, viruses, and potentially some      cancers. A lack of zinc leads to a weakened immune system.
  • Prostate health; a benefit of zinc for men is linked to      prostate health. Zinc can aid in fighting the inflammation and infection      of the prostate gland. Zinc is required by the body to manufacture      testosterone and without sufficient amounts of this hormone, a man may      suffer from a low sperm count, low sex drive, and other hormone related      problems.
  • Zinc also plays a role in sperm mobility and it may be a      useful therapy for male infertility.
  • Fighting the common cold; reducing the amount of time      colds last and decreasing the severity of symptoms
  • Brain booster; tests have shown that zinc enhances      memory and thinking.
  • For individuals who have suffered head injuries      involving memory loss, zinc has contributed to recovery. Zinc maintains      muscles in good health and contributes to their proper growth, strength,      and endurance.
  • Stimulates the activity of many enzymes, zinc plays a      role in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and energy.

(and) Sulfuric Acid

  • Sulfur is the third most abundant chemical in the human      body.
  • Sulfur is necessary for the synthesis of the essential      amino acids, cysteine and methionine.
  • Zinc is used topically to manage conditions ranging from      osteoarthritis and muscle soreness and dandruff     to rosacea.
  • Health Benefits; Sulfur is necessary for the synthesis      of certain key proteins.
  • Sulfur is needed for the synthesis of glutathione, a      potent antioxidant, protecting your cells from damage. Rosacea; Topically      applied sulfur may help treat rosacea

Sodium Hydroxide

  • Sodium is needed in the body for regulation of fluids      and blood pressure.
  • Assists in the smooth functioning of muscles and nerves.
  • It is responsible for muscle contractions, nerve      transmissions, maintaining pH. balance and hydration. Sodium is pivotal in      enzyme operation, muscle contraction, osmo-regulation and fluid      maintenance of the human body.
  • It is a versatile element which regulates the body’s      blood, a predominant ion and electrolyte, it occurs in more than 80 forms.
  • Dysfunction of sodium leads to serious impairment.      Unlike other minerals, it is heat resistant. Sufficient dosage of sodium      is vital during excessive perspiration, sunstroke and adrenal      insufficiency. It does not pose life threatening risks of excretion      through urine.
  • Anti- aging property: sodium is an important component      in anti-aging creams.
  • This is because of its ability to fight the radicals      that accelerate the aging process
  • It helps in maintaining youthful and healthy skin.
  • Skin benefits of sodium; plays a critical role in      skincare. Sodium has anti-aging properties.
  • Sodium is regarded as a mild wetting agent in products      for sensitive skin.
  • It is used as a preservative, astringent and antiseptic      and enhances a liquid’s viscosity.

Silver Dihydrogen Citrate (SDC)

  • Kills microorganisms by two modes of action: 1) the silver      ion deactivates structural and metabolic membrane proteins leading to      microbial death; 2) the microbes view SDC as a food source, allowing the      silver ion to enter the microbe. Once inside the organism, the silver ion      denatures the DNA, which halts the microbe's ability to replicate and      leads to its death. This dual action makes SDC highly and quickly      effective against a broad spectrum of microbes.
  • Safety; SDC is non-toxic, non-caustic, colorless,      odorless, tasteless and does not produce toxic fumes. While SDC is highly      toxic to bacteria, fungus and virus it is non-toxic to humans and animals.      Based on the EPA toxicity categorization of antimicrobial products, SDC is      category IV, while traditional disinfectants fall into Categories I and      II.

(and) Citric Acid

  • Citric acid helps loosen the damaged layers of skin. As      a result, healthier, younger skin underneath the spoiled skin, comes to      the top, giving you fairer skin and an effervescent complexion.      Antioxidants in this acid help repair skin, and fortify blood vessels.
  • Citric acid is widely used in skin care and our      anti-aging creams contains citric acid.
  • Citric acid reduces fine lines, is very good in      preventing wrinkles, slough of dead cells, prevent acne and treats uneven      skin tone.
  • Citric acid is a natural skin scrubber
  • Very effective for de-pigmenting your skin
  • Citric acid is an antioxidant that reduces the process      of aging.

Xanthan Gum

  • An additional ingredient to smooth and moisture the      skin.
  • Provides a liquid texture but is more viscous and solid.
  • Delicate effect on sensitive skin
  • Can make the skin become moist because xanthan gum binds      water.

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate

  • A naturally occurring mineral      derived from refined and purified clay. FDA monograph as beneficial in      treating acne.

Tetrasodium EDTA

  • The antimicrobial effects of      EDTA have been demonstrated for a range of clinical microorganisms that      include Gram-negative and -positive bacteria, yeasts, amoeba, and fungi. EDTA      is an Antimicrobial and Antibiofilm Agent for Use in Wound Care.      Tetrasodium EDTA also helps prevent rancidity.
  • Clinical Relevance;      Microorganisms are found contaminating or colonizing all wounds. When a      wound is colonized with microorganisms they survive as polymicrobial      communities encased within a matrix of extracellular polymeric substance      (EPS). This community of microorganisms are attached to each other, often      in conjunction with a surface, and form cellular aggregates. These      cellular aggregates are referred to as microcolonies. The combination of a      community of microorganisms, encased within self-generated EPS and      attached onto a surface (liquid or solid) is simply defined as a biofilm.      Biofilms form within all wounds but presently used practices prevent a      true picture of their incidence, prevalence, and pathogenicity. The      properties of the biofilm provide a barrier to phagocytic host cells and      antimicrobial agents, in particular antibiotics, which delay wound healing      and increase a patient's infection risk. One specific mechanism      that a biofilm possesses, in its defensive armory, is the      ability to sequester antimicrobials. This sequestration process is made      possible by the presence of EPS, which provides the biofilm with an      inherent tolerance to antimicrobial interventions. Consequently, the use      of antimicrobials alone to prevent and control biofilms is often reported      to be unsuccessful in medical conditions and on medical devices. This is      due to the fact the antimicrobials in general are specifically designed      and developed to kill microorganisms not to “break up” the “house” of the      biofilm. A common treatment in both dentistry and the food/water industry      is the use of antibiofilm agents, such as EDTA for controlling      biofilms. Such an approach could be considered appropriate for      preventing and treating biofilms in wounds and other areas linked to the      healthcare environment.  EDTA, in particular tEDTA, clearly has      both antimicrobial and antibiofilm properties. Furthermore, when      combined with different antimicrobials its synergistic ability for      enhancing the antimicrobial efficacy is also evident. As nonhealing wounds      are a direct result of the presence, persistence, and growth of pathogenic      biofilms, EDTA when used alongside appropriate antimicrobials and      surfactants. EDTA's excellent proven safety and antimicrobial/antibiofilm      ability makes it an ideal candidate for use in the development of future      antibiofilm technologies.

Saccharomyces Lysate Extract

  • Beneficial nutrients to the product formulation since the      fermentation process produces amino acids and peptides.
  • Both of these nutrients help to stimulate the skin’s      cellular renewal.
  • Saccharomyces lysate extract functions to soothe the      skin with its anti-irritant properties.
  • Saccharomyces cerevisiae extract is a skin-conditioning      agent
  • Ability to "act in oxidative stress and improve      skin conditions
  • A study compared results of transepidermal water loss,      skin moisture, skin microrelief and free radical’s protection after      applying formulas containing Vitamins A, C and E esters, a combination of      the vitamins and the extract (and all 3 against a control group). Results      were compared and although all of the formulas increased the skin moisture      on the patients, only the formulas containing only the saccharomyces      extract or the combination of the vitamins and extract yielded skin      microrelief results, whereas the vitamins alone did not. A derivative of      saccharomyces can help to increase microcirculation and reduce the      appearance of dark circles.

Phospholipids

  • Comprised of two types of fatty acid and in the lipid      family, a broad group of naturally-occurring molecules which includes      fats, waxes, sterols, fat-soluble vitamins (such as Vitamins A, D, E and      K).
  • The main biological functions of lipids include energy      storage, as structural components of cell membranes, and as important signaling      molecules.
  • They attract water and hold on to it. As a results      phospholipid are a crucial component for keeping the skin hydrated.
  • These organize themselves into bio-layers that gives      them a structure similar to that of skin. Because of this it is said that      products that contain them have an affinity with the skin and high      tolerance.
  • Phospholipids retain their structure when applied and      because of this is sometimes called a “second skin”. Phosphatidylcholine      is deemed to be the queen of phospholipids for cosmetic use because of its      smaller molecular size. It contains choline therefore; it is a precursor      to messenger molecules that go from cell to cell.
  • It can improve and protect cells and membranes damaged      by free radicals.
  • Phospholipids can only be obtained from virgin oils.
  • Phospholipids are carriers or transdermal delivery      systems that can help other ingredients penetrate. Phospholipids also seem      to be an antioxidant, according to studies, when combined with tocopherol      (vitamin E).

Lecithin

  • Soy is naturally rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty      acids, and lecithin which benefit the skin when applied topically.
  • Topical application of Vitamin E has been said to      promote healing and regeneration through its antioxidant properties.
  • Clinical and scientific studies both show that soy works      to reduce blotchiness and discoloration by evening out the appearance      of pigments within the skin’s surface.
  • Soy proteins can also work to moisturize skin and reduce      the appearance of fine lines.
  • Overall, soy is an especially appealing ingredient for      women who want an all-natural, simple beauty routine without compromising      effectiveness and quality
  • Vitamin-rich soybean oil has a small molecular structure      which enables it to penetrate the epidermis – the top layer of your skin.      Soy can actually nestle into the cellular structure and stimulate the      synthesis of collagen, elastin, and other proteins. Its properties are important      for cell growth and regeneration by reversing abnormal cell formations.
  • Soy can even out skin tone and can correct pigmentation      brought about by hormonal changes and damaging sun exposure.
  • Soy is naturally rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty      acids, and lecithin which benefit the skin when applied topically.
  • Topical application of Vitamin E has been said to      promote healing and regeneration through its antioxidant properties.
  • Essential fatty acids can help moisturize the collagen below the skin surface and lecithin is known to help maintain      the elasticity of the skin, helping to smooth out fine      lines and prevent premature aging.
  • Soy contains phytoestrogens – plant estrogens, that help      your skin cells rejuvenate, this type of estrogen will not go into your      blood stream, due to the two skin layers under the epidermis.
